Beginning Biking

1. Know how to ride a bike without training wheels.
2. Be able to ride three blocks in your neighbourhood.
3. Know three biking safety rules.
4. Colour a picture of a bicycle and be able to identify the following:
   1. handlebars
   2. chain and guard
   3. spokes
   4. seat
   5. main frame
5. How are tires pumped up?

Answer for #3:

1. Never ride out into the street without looking.
2. Never ride anyone on the bike with you.
3. Ride with both hands-on handlebars.
4. Be careful not to ride into someone walking on road or into another cyclist.
5. Always use a biking helmet.
